Hi, I’m Angela Corrias, a Sardinia-born travel designer, advisor and journalist.
After living abroad and in Rome for almost thirty years, the call of my island became too strong not to hear it and here I am, back in my hometown staring at it with new eyes and wondering why I left for so long.
I have travelled around the world for years, lived in Dublin, London, Shanghai, and Fortaleza, and traveled to countries like Cambodia, Thailand, Iran, India, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, the UAE, and more.
From my experience as a frequent traveller, I gained extensive knowledge on what issues can arise while being out of your comfort zone, and my deep understanding of the culture, traditions, and places of my hometown gives me a privileged position in designing itineraries in Sardinia and creating all-inclusive vacation packages.
On this Sardinian travel blog, I picture Sardinia in many aspects – its art and history without doubt, but also its people, traditions, and customs.
And my custom itineraries will reflect this style of delving deep into the local way of living so that travellers don’t just have a great holiday but go back home with incredible memories and fully recharged and regenerated.
Why Sardinia Revealed?
Sardinia Revealed was created to show the world all that Sardinia has to offer, from its gorgeous beaches and hiking trails to its beautiful cities and cultural traditions.
Sardinia is a unique island located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. It’s one of the most popular summer holiday destinations for Italians, but it’s still relatively unknown to international tourists.
Many people who know about it mistakenly think that it’s only a beach destination. The ones who express an interest think that 3 or 4 days are more than enough to visit.
Sardinia Revealed is meant to fill in the informative gap and strives to become a reference for Sardinia travellers.
Starting from here, I intend to show that Sardinia is more than just beaches; to raise interest in its marvelous landscape and unique culture; to help anybody who wants to visit get the trip of a lifetime, and soak in the unique energy this ancient land is enveloped in.
